ATTENTION UMASS LOWELL MEMBERS: CONTRACT FUNDING UPDATE

On Tuesday, November 20, Governor Patrick filed the supplemental budget that includes funding for our retro and one year contract. This budget was assigned House Bill number 4382 and has been referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.

Procedurally, the House and Senate need to vote on this bill. While this process is generally routine, let’s try to speed it up.

Please take a moment to call or write to your State Senator and State Representative today, and ask them to urge the members of Ways and Means to report the funding package out of committee as quickly as possible.
