Campaign Unavailable We're sorry, this alert is no longer available. If you would like to learn more about ways you can take action, please visit SEIU 888 Action Center. The short explanation of this alert was: Senate President Therese Murray kept her promise to state employees. The Senate budget proposal released this week does not seek to increase the premium percentage that state employees pay for health insurance. The Senate budget maintains the current rate structure. Senate leadership was clear from day one that they had no intention of increasing state employee health insurance this year. Please take a moment to email Senate President Murray and Senate Ways and Means Chairman Steve Panagiotakos to thank them for their leadership on this issue and to ask for their continued support throughout the remainder of the budget process. Please check the SEIU 888 website regularly for updates on the budget as the process continues, or call Jim Redmond at (617) 241-3300 with any questions.
