Nearly all Americans will depend on the social security they've earned to assist with their retirements. Unfortunately, some politicians are attempting to privatize a portion of the system -- a decision that would jeopardize our retirement security. Social Security does face problems, but privatization will only make the problem worse by cutting retirees benefits, saddling our children with $2 trillion in debt and most likely raising workers' retirement age.
