Workers at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center have dedicated much of their lives to serving the hospital and the Pottstown community. Now Community Health Services - the for-profit owner of the hospital - is threatening to make family health care unaffordable for many employees.

Despite making $58 million in profit in just the first 3 months of this year, CHS wants to:

• Raise annual deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums and ER co-pays by 400%
• Force employees to pay dramatically higher premiums for these reduced benefits.
• Gamble employees' retirements on the stock market by replacing their pension with a 401(k).
