Health care is quickly being priced out of reach for millions of working families. Instead of taking action to make health care more affordable, Congress is currently considering $60 billion in cuts that will devastate our hospitals and nursing homes.

Hospitals will need to cut critical services resulting in fewer caregivers, sicker patients, and longer emergency room waits. Nursing home funding will be cut, and residents will not get all the help they need with feeding, dressing, exercise, and going to the bathroom. And many people with disabilities and seniors who rely on an in-home caregiver will be forced to use institutional care. Children will lose health coverage.

Taking health care away from seniors and children is not the way to solve our health care crisis. Tell your Governor and members of Congress to oppose these health care cuts.
