No one can live on $206 a week or $10,712 a year. And they shouldn't have to. But, that is what a full time minimum wage worker earns — $5,000 below the poverty level for a family of three.  

Legislation was introduced in both the House and Senate to raise the minimum wage from $5.15 to $7.00 an hour. Please fax your Congressional delegation today. Let them know that it is time for a raise for low-wage workers.
