Child care center directors and workers are joining together to raise standards for early education across Washington. They're forming a new kind of organization statewide, across many types of child care centers, to be a strong voice for high-quality care and learning.

SB 6522 (and HB 2449) would give child care centers the freedom to bargain together with the state for the funds and programs to help them train and retain nurturing, professional child care staff so that children can learn, grow, and prepare to succeed in school.
