UNICCO is a contractor hired by the University of Miami to clean the campus and has been cited in multiple states for violating the civil rights of its employees. Unlike other university presidents, University of Miami President Donna Shalala is refusing to insist that her contractor abide by the law.
Urge President Shalala to ensure workers’ rights to exercise their freedom to unite their strength in the workplace free of the threats and intimidation—tactics now routine under UNICCO.
