Talking Points
The Quality Child Care for America Act will help address the child care crisis by investing in early education professionals working in their homes and in centers across the nation. The bill would help attract and retain a highly qualified child care workforce by allowing States to fund:
Continuing education and training for providers to improve the quality of care for the children they serve;
Compensation and support for child care professionals to reduce turnover among the early education workforce; and
Access to quality, affordable health insurance and paid leave to attract future providers to the early education profession.
