By allowing residents to decide whether they wish to have an election or a simple majority sign-up of residents on a petition or cards

Facilitate Initial Collective Bargaining Agreements

By requesting mediation and arbitration in order to force the hospital to settle on a first contract and not drag out negotiations indefinitely

Strengthen Enforcement

By increasing the financial penalties for hospitals that attempt to discriminate against, threaten, or in any other way retaliate during an organizing campaign or during the negotiations for a first contract

Interns, Residents and Fellows deserve the right to bargain over salaries, working conditions and a voice on issues that impact patient care.
