The short explanation of this alert was:

California is approaching a fiscal meltdown. Starting this month, students will lose their grants; centers that support people with developmental disabilities will be stiffed, and taxpayers will start receiving IOU’s. Some legislators want to take advantage of this crisis to advance their agenda of destroying California’s public services, environmental laws, and worker protections.

Tell the legislature this cynical opportunism is despicable and won’t stand the light of day!
